“Murph” Day on June 10th, 2023
“Murph” is a so called “Hero-Workout”, that is done worldwide around Memorial Day. it consists of:
- 1 Meile run
- 100 Pull-ups
- 200 Push-ups
- 300 Air Squats
- 1 Meile run
Pros do the whole workout with a ruck or a weighted vest (6 kg for women, 9 kg for men).
Sounds scary? No worries! We prepare you over the course of several weeks for this event so everyone can complete it at their own pace. And as a reward for your effort, we will this year again have an amazing barbecue afterward.
Results of the CrossFit Games Age Group Quarterfinals 2023
At these years qualifying contest for the CrossFit Games, coach Tina proved that she knows her stuff.
In her age group with more than 6.400 participants, she qualified for the Quarterfinals where she ranked 41. worldwide. In Europa she came 6. and in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) she even came first!
Gold Coast Fitness wins the 1. Meilemer Drachenboot Indoorcup
On March 19th, 2023, Gold Coast Fitness ventured into unfamiliar territory with two teams. The result was noteworthy. Although there was only one person with dragon boat experience in each of the two teams, the strength, fitness and good coordination of both teams paid off. We are already looking forward to defending our title next year.
